About the Shell Nut :

Like a hermit crab, I like spending time in a shell, especially PowerShell and PowerCLI.
I like exploring, experimenting in the shell and when I find something interesting, I build an automation tool out of it.

The main purpose of this blog is to document the results of my experimentations.
Documenting this in the form of blog posts allows me to retrieve and share things easily.

Why being nuts about the shell ?

  • Because I find it more rewarding to be a tool builder rather than a tool user.
  • Because automation is a great way to boost productivity : mine, my colleague’s, my customers’ …
  • Because the time saved with automation can be used to work on more interesting things, or automate some more, to save even more time …
